TTRS 12" Turret Rotation System

Non-assembled Turret Rotation System for scale vehicles [i.e. 1/6 scale or larger]. This unit is designed with an ABS ring over a 300mm (12") Lazy Susan Turntable. The motor is small enough to stall without the need of limit switches.

The 3rd Generation system adds L-shape brackets to connect the outer lazy susan ring to the hull, without bolt heads interfering with the ABS rotation rings.

NOTE: 14" and 16" systems also available upon inquiry

This system includes:

High Torque Motor : 45 RPM 24 VDC permanent magnet motor with high torque output.
Lazy Susan: 330lbs Aluminum Turntable, 11.81" circle plate, 9mm thick, includes bearings.
ABS Ring: Two 60-teeth rings mounted on the inside ring of the Turntable.
ABS Pinions: One pinion size is provided: 8 teeth. 12 teeth and 16 teeth upon inquiry. Choice of rotation speeds between 8 sec and 15 sec per 360 degree rotation.
Hardware: Spacers, bolts and necessary hardware to mount the rotation system

This kit includes the spring (shown in photos below), which creates turret slippage under high stress.

Great System

The turret rotation system is pretty easy to install and works very well. I also installed it on my M4 Sherman and it went in and was operational in no time and I am not very experienced with RC electronics.
