History:
The Tiger I differed from earlier German tanks principally in its design philosophy. The new approach emphasized on firepower and armor. With its frontal armor of 100mm and its 88mm gun, it could engage any opponent at great distances, while its opponent had to use tactics or number to attempt to destroy this formidable weapon. However, at over 50 tons dead weight, the suspension, gearboxes and other such items had clearly reached their design limits and breakdowns were frequent.

Radio Controlled Upgrades (not included):

This kit is designed as a static kit. A fully designed RC Tiger I kit is available (click on this link). It includes important features like a inner metal shell hull, track tension idlers, and pre-drilled hole locations for swing arms and RC functionality. However, this static kit could be upgraded to RC with the following systems:

MPSS Suspension System

TTMS Motorization System

Tiger I RC Sprockets

TTRS Turret Rotation System

TTES Gun Elevation System

ECS Electronic Control System

TX/RX 2.4GHz Radio System

Tiger I Ausf.E June 1944 Version

The June 1944 version of the Tiger I was the final version of this well-respected tank. It included cast cupolas, zimmerit and the new steel-rimmed wheels developed for the Tiger Ausf.B, called Tiger II. (see attached photos of all 6 versions of the Tiger on links below) - other differences included the position of the Bosch lights, the storage of the left hull tow cables and various other small changes
