MPSS Suspension System

Non-assembled Suspension Unit for the FOA10001 Tiger I Kit. This suspension system is two rows of eight swing arms designed for a maximum load of up to 135 kg (300 lb.). It now includes the idler with the rail

Each self-standing suspension unit consists of a road wheel shaft, connected to a layered swing arm, which is connected to the swing arm shaft with an adjustable tension coil spring. Each suspension unit is rotating inside a steel square tube rail.

Adjustable:Two adjustments are possible on this suspension unit: The coarse adjustment is made on the position of the hex bolt in the swing arm wrap-around plate. The fine adjustment is made inside the hull, on the half-moon groove connected to the coil spring tangential arm


  • Sixteen individual MPSS Suspension units
  • Two laser-cut rails (30" Long) with adjustable tension plates
  • Idler system for track tension

What do you need to do?

  • Drill 5/8" holes on the side of the Tiger I hull, corresponding exactly to the holes of the rails. You might drill larger holes to allow the flange of the bushings to be flush with the ABS
  • Drill 1/4" holes on the side and bottom of the Tiger I hull, corresponding exactly to the 1/4" holes on the rails. These holes are for securing the rails to the hull. The side holes, next to each 5/8" holes, are the suspension arm stoppers.

    I am very impressed with the engineering and thought that went into the design of this system. I love the fact that you can build it from laser cut sheet metal and when done, you have a fully functional suspension that can support up to 350lbs...INCREDIBLE! Lets see that from other companies....
